In 1988, Anne Ebel started a little company in Jacksonville, Florida. Called Ebel Inc., it sold resin benches to amusement parks and country clubs across the United States. Today, Ebel has evolved into a respected manufacturer of all-weather wicker furniture that caters to specialty retailers. Weather wicker is a consumer favorite because it offers so many design possibilities, and it warms up an outdoor space in a way that aluminum or wrought iron cannot. It has a cozy indoor look, yet it can be cleaned off with a garden hose.

New for the 2013 season, the Carlisle collection has been a hot seller. This fully upholstered outdoor collection is constructed with an aluminum frame and comes standard in Sunbrella’s durable new Barrier Backed Rain fabric in Spectrum Mushroom. A variety of seating pieces are available, including a swivel recliner. Bases are available in either Driftwood or Chestnut frame finishes. Tables and dining options can be mixed and matched from the Dreux, Laurent, Napoli, and Portofino collections, allowing the ultimate in style customization.

The Laurent Collection is also new for 2013. This collection is available in a variety of seating, dining, and sectional seating pieces, allowing customization of seating arrangements to fit any space. Unique items include a swivel recliner, and armrests with built-in cup holders and storage areas. The Laurent collection is available in Driftwood and Chestnut weaves, and includes 6-inch cushions.
